| On Monday, August 21, 2006 at 19:34 hours, Lyons Fire Rescue, along with Lyons Town Ambulance, was dispatched to a reported two (2) car motor vehicle accident with possible entrapment, at the intersection of Leach Rd and Forgham St. Engine 6 took the assignment along with Chief Witt and Assistant Chief's Paliotti & Rios.
Upon Engine 6's arrival, a two (2) car motor vehicle accident with injuries was confirmed as well as entrapment in Vehicle #2. Captain DiSanto made quick use of the "tool" and the victim was freed and turned over to EMS for transport. LFD was assisted on location by Lyons Town Ambulance, and Lyons Police Department. The assignment went back into service at 20:01 hours. |
