| On Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at 07:40 hours, Lyons Fire Rescue along with Lyons Town Ambulance, was dispatched to a reported one (1) car MVA, car into a pond, unknown on injuries. Engine 6 took the assignment under the direction of Chief Witt.
Upon Engine 6's arrival, a single vehicle was found off the road, down a slight enbankment and into a pond. The operator, found sitting in a passer-by's vehicle, was checked over by EMS personnel and later declined transport. LFD was assisted on location by Lyons Town Ambulance, and Wayne County Sheriff's Department. The assignment went back into service at 08:39 hours. |
