On Sunday, July 23, 2006, the Lyons Fire Department held a special training session for the Confined Space Rescue Team. An area business allowed the team to make entry into an underground vault to perform various training evolutions.
This training was conducted under the direction of Chief Witt, Assistant Chief Paliotti, and Firefighter Aunkst.
