Lyons Fire Department 2012 Parades
At approx. 19:00 hrs while LFD units were onscene at Franklin street for power lines down over the railroad tracks, dispatch advised Engine 6 of a reported barn fire on Canal St near Jackson St. Engine 6 Cars 7-1,7-2,7-3 and 7-4 arrived at 192 Canal St with a large barn on fire behind a residence. Fire was contained to a workshop on the south end. At 06:00 Lyons units were dispatched back to the same residence for flames showing from the barn. 7-1 arrived onscene reporting a working fire. Lyons units were clear of the scene at 09:00
At 06:37 Lyons Fire Rescue along with Lyons Town Ambulance were dispatched to a 1 car Rollover MVA on Old Lyons Rd. Rescue 3 along with Cars 7-2 and 7-3 handled the assignment. Lyons units assisted with EMS for 1 patient and turned care over to LTA WN4 for transport.
On Saturday, February 4th, 2012, the Lyons Fire Department was dispatched to a reported fire in the 2nd floor of a residence. Upon arrival Chief Witt reported a 2 story wood frame structure with flames showing from the 2nd floor.

On Saturday, November 12th, 2011 at 21:07 hours, the Lyons Fire Department along with Lyons Town Ambulance were dispatched to a reported House Fire at 39 Montezuma Street.
Engine 6 took the assignment under the direction of Car 7-4 and arrived on location with heavy smoke showing from a two story residence. Continue reading
